EPS-OSFS Fountain Solution Low VOC’s

OSFS One Step Fountain Solution is an efficient and economical, low VOC fountain solution designed for small to medium format sheet-fed presses. OSFS works well with UV and conventional inks and does not require alcohol or an alcohol substitute.

Application Information
Safety First – Review Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and secure proper Personal Safety and Protective Gear.

To Use:
1. The dampening system must be cleaned and flushed before using OSFS.
2. Mix at a ratio of:
Sheet Fed: 3.5 to 4.0 ounces of OSFS per one gallon of water – 3.5 – 4.0 oz / 1 Gallon.
3. The pH should be 3.8 – 4.0 and conductivity in a range of 900-1400 above water.
4. Check all roller settings against manufacturer’s specifications. Start ink setting at a
level that is 15% below normal setting and keep stripes to the light side of specs.
5. If problems appear, check Shore A hardness of rollers.
