Alpha UV Low VOC Press Wash

ALPHA™ UV is a Patented, ultra-low VOC blanket and roller wash designed for cleaning ultraviolet ink,
but can also be used on hybrid and conventional inks. ALPHA™ UV provides excellent performance
without the use of harmful chemicals, like Acetone, and can be used in manual applications, as well as in
cloth and brush Auto-Wash Systems*. ALPHA™ UV requires no premixing or diluting, contains no
Hazardous Air Pollutants, and meets or exceeds a range of health and safety requirements.

* ALPHA™ UV is not recommended for use on equipment with catalytic converters.

Application Information

Protective Gear.

Hand Wash/Manual Application:

Cleaning Blankets
Apply ALPHA™ UV to your favorite shop cloth and wipe blanket clean. (The amount of ALPHA™ UV and
cleaning effort needed varies with how dirty your blankets are.) A quick follow-up with a water-dampened
cloth is recommended. Blankets are now clean and ready to run. Again, ALPHA™ UV does not require
diluting and doing so is not advisable.

Cleaning Rollers
Apply ALPHA™ UV just like you would a conventional roller wash. Once the rollers are clean and free of
ink, thoroughly flush any remaining contaminants with an ample amount of fresh water. Rollers are now
ready to run.

Automatic Wash Systems:
Cleaning Blankets and Rollers
Simply follow the same procedures as when using traditional auto-wash products. For first time
installations, we recommend consulting with an Explorer Pressroom Solutions representative prior to use.
